About Us

The school is run by an eleven member board of management (BOM) on behalf of the LCC. The LCC ensures that it appoints to the board committed individuals with diverse skill sets and experiences from academia, church, industry, banking, business and public service. When it comes to children, Kiu Kenda Presbyterian School is all about love. We love to provide each child with the best care in the world. The school offers the competence based curriculum (CBC) from pre-school, grade one to grade five and 8-4-4 system (class six to class eight) education. All this is based on Christian teachings guided by our vision “To create and maintain a community school that provides quality education based on clear spiritual principles within a safe, stimulating and supportive Christian environment. Our parents can attest to this from the behavioural character of our pupils. We ensure that our pupils are all rounded individuals by recruiting the best teachers in the market whom we support through our human resource development programme in line with our mission statement “To impart the highest quality of teaching and learning that provides each child with an opportunity to achieve his or her potential academically, physically, within a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment.
